What they do: WUFT-FM Radio Reading Service broadcasts more than 50
hours of newspaper and book readings each week. They keep the listeners in touch with the world and their own
communities. The readings are broadcast to listeners through a special radio receiver. If a listener is
eligible (as deemed by a medical professional), a radio is loaned to that person free of
charge.
What YOU can do to
help: Volunteers are always needed to read for this program. If you
are interested in volunteering, contact the director, Chris Peralta.
