Girls to Young Ladies strives to empower and support young girls as they are transitioning into womanhood by providing cultural, educational, recreational, and social activities to help young girls overcome negative life challenges while strengthening their minds through academic assistance and mentoring.

Who they are: Girls to Young Ladies strives to empower and support young girls ages 6-17 as they are transitioning into womanhood. They help these girls gain knowledge and exposure in such areas as:

Academic achievement

Community service

Financial and career planning

Spiritual development

Health and fitness

What they do: The girls are introduced to experiences and information that they might not have had an opportunity to participate in, such as trips to teen conferences, theatrical plays, gospel concerts, universities/colleges and international workshops. Girls to Young Ladies believes that the keys to becoming a strong, empowered, well grounded woman is to maintain high self esteem and dedication to family, self and community.
