What they do: Al’z Place’s Adult Program runs five days a week, eight hours a day (7:45a.m.-5p.m.). They provide respite care for family and friends taking care of seniors with Alzheimer’s disease or severe memory impairment. Seniors in the Adult Program participate in therapeutic activities such as quiet and active games, physical exercise, doll therapy, validation therapy, and reminiscence. Two snacks and lunch are provided each day.

What YOU can do to help: Volunteers assist seniors who have Alzheimer’s or severe memory impairment in daily activities, planned events, and lunches.
