Who they are: The AARP Tax-Aide Program, Gainesville District is a community service program for middle and lower-income taxpayers of all ages. 

What they do: This program provides free help for people filling out their tax forms. 

What YOU can do to help: Volunteers are needed to counsel taxpayers on how to fill out their federal forms and how to electronically file their returns. Volunteers first go through an IRS-approved tax-training course and are trained in how to use tax preparation software.
